Peter KaszubskiI do not think so Andy.
This one shows all 175 grade if you look at the Washington watch its bit different them 175 grade
as you can see on the picture.
I think ther was only around 500 ever made in this one finger configuration

David AbbePeter, I agree with your estimate of 500 one finger bridge movements. Sadly, while many Illinois grade 175 movements were made, the very few 1 finger cut bridges should be better distinguished from the rest.

Tom DunnPeter; That is a 1FB 175, they made 350 of the 16S 17J Senate in that grade. There were also 700 Grade 605s and 400 Grade 304s in the Senate.
Washington is fun to collect...I have a Monroe that only 80 were made. Fun that is until you need a dial for one...sadly few dials exist that are worth using, you'll usually have to "rob" one off another watch.
When I get a nice 19 or 21J Army and Navy with a half decent dial I will let you know

William D. WhiteI believe that Illinois made the Washington Watch Co. line exclusively for retailer Montgomery Ward.

Edward L. Parsons, Jr.That's correct David, and another Illinois department store private label was the Plymouth Watch Co., sold by Sears & Roebuck.
