Some good buys or what?
I won bids on an Elgin and Hampden recently. The Elgin is a 16s gold screwed, 17J model with what looks to be a RR case. The Hampden is also 17J which inlcludes the holder.

The Elgin was $38.56 and the Hampden combo was $38.32

looks like 2 great deals the cases are worth what you paid..

This is a great time of year to buy on ebay,,,but a bad time to sell unless it is a high end watch,,

Hi John,
Looks like you did well! I had a bid in on the Hampden but didn`t try too hard on it since I have several similar models. Looks like it is in pretty nice condition and the holder to boot!
You see much lesser quality Hampdens go for $50 - $75 or more quite regularly on ebay.
Has anyone noticed that ebay no longer has the "search by bidder" feature?

Cool

Nice buys John.
The summer is always a buyer's market on eBay.

Kenny,

They have changed the format of the search dialogue box, but there is still a "items by bidder" option, over on the left margin.

Best Regards,
