President Columbus movement
Is this the correct dial for this movement or was the original dial marked the president like the movement.

Rob, I for one do not know much about the Columbus watches but I know that Claude and David have been discussing them here recently and am sure they may have some info on this if they were aware the subject was here....maybe neither has noticed it yet....

This movement looks like a nice one but I do not know if the dial should be signed as President or not....

BTW, this dial looks like it might clean up very nicely....

Regards,

Jerry

Page 171 of Roy Ehrhardt's " American Pocket Watches, Vol. 1, Describes Columbus Watch Co. Private Label or Jeweler's Contract Watches". Shows this with the comment that it is Columbus Watch Co. Judging from the other watch descriptions where the specially signed dial is called out, here it is described as Columbus Watch Co. dial being coorect for the movement.

Unless you plan on being early all the time....you seem to be missing a regulator screw as well.
