Roger StephensNice Find! Hamilton 936 and Matching Repair Paper
I had a repair watch paper and calendar from 1909 Crescent Watch Case Co. s/n 280356 for watch movement. I automatically thought of Hamilton and the s/n would be a 936 made in 1903.
I have had this repair paper for 2-3 years so every time I saw a 936 I checked the s/n with no luck until a week ago and lo and behold there it was 936 s/n 280356 in a Philadelphia case, good dial and running. I placed a bid and won it. When I received it I put it in a Crescent case with the papers. Nice watch and a first for me!

Roger StephensThanks guys. I still am having a hard time believing
it. I wish I could remember what case -watch it came
with. But I know it didn't match the movement so I
stuck it in box of miscellaneous items.Out of sight
but not out of mind. I am surprised it survived from
1909 to 2015 or so when I got it.That is a miracle
within its self. If only these relics could talk!
