I have 2- 992e's I think the dial case movements are all correct.

I just noticed the chip at 53 min. I don't remember that when I bought it. Probable was to excited about the price though.

I think you're right Eugene. The first dial is correct, the second is not.

The second dial is a Heavy Arabic from the 1920's, it should be a Heavy Gothic to be correct for a 992-elinvar.

I looked at the link the first 992e Movement # 2634453 dates to 1936 Case # is 0517476 dates to 1929. They are pretty far apart.

2nd Movement # 2592565 dates to 1936. Case # 0645653 dates to 1931 They are pretty far apart also.

Both watches are as I found them. I keep them together. I will change the one dial To make it Closer to the same time frame.

I really thought they would of been original. From wear they where bought from.
