Chris AbellHi Mike,

Harold Visser#5251 was in a group of 10 that was finished on Aug. 8, 1864 and sold to Fellows & Co.
#8752 was finished also in a group of 10 on Jan. 4 1866. I might note that at that time frame, the factory records show that these groups of watch movements were signed off by G.P.R. (George P. Reed) the Howard foreman at that time....

Roger J. NolfeNice watches Mike! Can Chris or Harold tell me the date and any other pertinent info of 9661? I own that one. I just sent what I believe to be the original case to Leon Harris for repair. It is a Hunter case.
Thanks...
Roger

Harold VisserSorry, Page 193 is the last page in that particular book, with 8960 being the last number. The next book starts with the 17000s numbers. In other words, no data available for #9661.....

Roger J. NolfeThanks Harold...I guess I can extrapolate and figure 9661 was made sometime in 1866.

Mary Ann ScottI came across this E. Howard serial number list compiled by Bob Rolfe and Dave Chaplain based on factory records donated to the Smithsonian by Dana Blackwell.
http://home.comcast.net/~dchaplain/EH/E_Howard.htmSo according to their list, my #6093 was in a group of 10 finished 1/2/1865 and my #7016 was finished 5/17/1865.
