Ken Habeeb'92 Waltham Crescent dial?
Hi guys -- Is it possible for the dial on each of the following watches to be original for the model 1892 18s and 21j Crescent St., or is one of these wrong? I'd rather rely on the brain trust here than on a any book. Here's the first image...

Richard M. JonesHi Kenneth, They both look to be correct for the Crescent Street or any of the other 1892 models. The double sunk 1892 dials can be a bit expensive if they are without issues. I seem to recall them going for upwards of $150, but perhaps the Waltham collectors would know better.

David AbbeKenneth, they are correct because;
1. The Model 1892 dials
will NOT fit any other 18s Watch, the center to center spaciing between the center hands arbors and the seconds arbor is different from any other Waltham 18s Movement.
2. Given the model 1892 was delivered first in the mid-late 1890's, Arabic dials were the rule and Roman dials were the exception.
Suggestion, in the future, include the movement serial numbers. That way we can better help "date" the stuff that is accessorized to the movement.
