Did any of the major pocket watch manufacturers make a nurse watch - where the time could be read when the nurse looked down at the watch pinned to her garment?

My sister in law has a Hamilton nurse's watch. 17 Jewels, I think. A nice little watch in a sterling silver case. She picked it up in an antique shop, I think, and the serial number was from circa 1950.
