RECENT TOPIC I HAD A QUESTION ABOUT A MOVEMENT AND A CASE NUMBER BEING PERIOD CORRECT. I GOT THE ANSWER I WAS LOOKING FOR. IN THAT TOPIC DISCUSSION I WAS ASK IF MY STAR MODEL 17 HAD A RED STAMP, HE SAID MANY DO AND MINE DOES. I'M CURIOUS WHY AND WHAT REASON? I KNOW YOU GUYS HAVE THE RIGHT ANSWER AND DO ANY OTHER MODELS HAVE THIS? ALSO-- WHY WAS THE ARABIC NUMBERS CHANGED TO ROMAN NUMERALS SCRIBED ON THE CENTER SECTION? OH....AND SOMEBODY HAS GOT SOMETHING FIGURED WRONG, $12.00 IS AWFUL CHEAP FOR ALL THE GOOD INFO. HECK FAR I ALREADY GOT ENOUGH ALUMINUM CANS SAVED UP FOR NEXT YEARS DUES!!!!! Buster BeckThe red ink stamp was some form of manufacturing code, such as "H4" etc etc.
When posting online, whenever one "caps locks" all their prose, its the same as shouting or adding great emphasis to the wording or a word.
So most folks don't do that unless they are really upset over something

I second Buster's comments about using all capital letters in your postings. It is rather annoying, IMHO.

JonesTim, I think the annoyance at caps is ironic because as an older fellow I find the caps easier to read and if they are used on a particular point that just seems to me to be someones way of emphasizing something. However I have been told by children and grandchildren that it is the equivalent of shouting. WE LIVE AND LEARN!!!!!!!!
