Hamilton 921 in platinum
Here's a treasure that found its way to me this week... a Hamilton 10 size in platinum.

I was surprised to find it housed a 921 movement instead of the expected 923 Masterpiece, but movement serial number of H423 seems to be consistent with 1937 presentation inscription on caseback.

Please let me know what you think.

Beautiful watch. I've seen a lot of presentation 921s so I assume that there was a wide variety of case materials to choose from even if it wasn't the 23j movement. I've got a platinum case Hulburd that's very similar.

That is the first platinum cased watch I have seen. A real treasure.

Can you show us the presentation on the back?

How much would this have cost when it was new?

Thanks for sharing,

John III
