Elgin - Part?
Could this possibly be for/from a WW2 sweep second hand 16sz Elgin movement. Looked in the swigart book - no help

Here is the container marked "Elgin" (that narrows it down, right Roll Eyes )

I "believe" that little bracket piece is located on the movement side of the center wheel on the sweep hand 16sz elgin.

Anyone?

TIA

Never too old to learn or share your knowledge, eh?

10.30 mm in length (long rascal)

(my guess - could it possibly be the 3rd wheel on WW2 sweep elgin movement)

The length makes it sound right, I looked under search for elgin sweep and it has some pictures of the movements , but the "tab" looks different. did the military have one also ?

Jon, it looks like you have a couple 4th wheels and possibly a center seconds watch bridge. The third wheel is not among those parts in your collection.
