spot at 4 pm PDT was around $985. Why should that be a cause for concern for watch collectors? Those that have gold cased watches are fortunate and those that don't missed some terrific buying opportunities in the past 4-5 years. The case scrappers will continue to do damage and continue to drive the value of gold cased watches.
