Era of Signed Rockford Watch Co Cases
Hi All,

Could any one enlighten me on what Era the Rockford Company started using their signed Rockford Watch Co cases and were they long pendant cases?

Thanks
Bila

Good question, Bila. I'd like to know, too.

I've got a 16s Rockford Iroquois in a signed Rockford case.

And the trademark:

Very nice watch Eric, I have a bit of a soft spot for Rockfords. I have a 17 jewel wind indicator that has a ratty looking gold filled case and was going to use a signed rockford case if it is period correct, also if it is, I will have to find one!

Just bringing this topic up the list, hopefully somebody will know something?

Not sure if this will help but Rockford was issued trademarks for watch cases in 1912. I don't know if that was when they started using their own cases but that was the year they were issued the trademark.

Thanks Tom, that is a start, maybe someone else might elaborate further.
