Plate picture of a Waltham mod 88
Could anyone please put a picture on a mod 1888 Waltham showing the plate under the dial. Someone maybe know where to find such a picture on the internet? This would be very helpful!
Thanks in advance.

Do you want the dial side or the interior side of the plate? The setting mechanism is in the interior and the motion works are under the dial. If no one else puts a picture up by this evening (California time) I will post an image.

Thanks Jerry!

This picture shows the dial side of the pillar-plate of three different movements. The upper two are both gilt open-face movements. They differ in the cut-out for the winding pinion area -- a figure-eight on the left and a teardrop on the right. The figure-eight seems to occur on earlier movements. There are also non-functional, cosmetic differences in winding/setting clutches that occur, but are not illustrated by these examples. The lower movement is a nickel hunting case example. Let me know if you need more details of anything.
