Correct Movement for Case?
I have had this 16s case for years, I think I paid twenty dollars for it. It has been single since and looking one day to get married. What would be the correct and appropriate movement for this Keystone nickeloid case #990684.

Thanks in advance!!
Tim

Tim,

The case you have could have been used for replacement purposes during the late 1930s or the 1940s and even later. If it was used previously, close comprison of case-screw marks could reveal what was once in the case.

If you have a particular movement in mind give us the name and movement number.

A nice Later Model Elgin or Waltham 17J - 21J would look fine in that case.

True, but just be aware some of the late model Waltham's have their set levers at the 5 minute before the hour location and would require you to cut a new slot in that case.
