Jerry KingSouth Bend with Dial problems
I need advice on this mdl. 219 South Bend....
Can the damage to this dial be repaired or am I going to have to replace it?
Any advice will be appreciated....
Regards,
Jerry

Jerry KingRear view - has a lot of green stuff growing also. Probably a good candidate to have Chris work some of his majic also....

David AbbeJerry, I would like to see a step by step pictorial of Lindell's methods as it would certainly make your dial work given that you dial post damage missed the black Hour and red minute markers.

Jerry KingHello Lindell,
The repair of Douglas's 932 is super... How about trying your majic on this one????

I would rather attempt to keep the original dial than do a replacement; futhermore, no matter what one does with or to a watch, one should always pass along such information to a new owner, if one sells the item.
Thanks for your input and considerations....
Regards,
Jerry

Jerry Kingopps, you snuck in between Lindell's and my post to him....boy, got to be quick....
Thanks, Dave.... I agree, especially the location of the damage.
As far as the step by step proceedure goes, I think Lindell pretty much does that here:
Pretty detailed explanation....

Jerry KingLindell,
I hope that you are feeling better, day by day my friend....Take it nice n' easy on the way back....
Regarding the South Bend, from these photos, I would say the bezel screws off....but I am not certain....

by any means....

Maybe someone else that knows more about this watch can help out by telling us if it is a screw on or snap off....
I didn't have it in my possession long enough to get any decent photos of it, I handed it off pretty quick.
Regards,
Jerry
