Mike Hodge18s, Pendant set, Hunter question
I have a very nice 18s, Hunter case that I bought from Andy S. It is for a pendant set watch and has no lever cut. my question is regarding the scarcity of pendant set 18s Hunter movements. I am thinking of cutting a lever slot and putting a LS movement into it. Will I significantly lower the value of the case? Is there a reason to keep it PS eventhough I don't have a movement for it? I'll listen to all sides on this and I am not really in a hurry to modify a nice case. Help Please

Jerry KingPendant set 18 size movements are not that uncommon, Mike....I have two or three of them myself and they are in lever set cases....
Your case is harder to find than a movement to fit it is....
Keep it as is, is my vote...

Jerry

Richard M. JonesMike I would not cut it unless you just have to. I have 2 18s pendant set hunters and they are probably more common than you might think. About the time you run across a nice 18s pendant set hunter movement you will regret the alteration. Regards
