A nice clean movement Roger. Yours was the 380th produced out of a TOTAL PRODUCTION of 8,306 of the 937's. It was finished 5/15/1894 and sold to J.W. Forsinger on 1/1/1895 out of Chicago, Ill.

There were 120-150 of the 937's that were "re-numbered" by Hamilton if they were still in Hamilton's inventory by late 1897. They simply had a "3" added to the front of the 4 digit serial numbers. Those that were "re-numbered" were done so if they were returned for repair to be resold, or still in their "aging" inventory in 1897.

bb

Nice 4 digit Rodger. I personally like the RN dial with the Hunter cased movements. To me they just seem correct. That's a keeper.
