Bill the best data I could find for the 21J version was in the range of 26K. Strange thing is that the 23j OF version was nearly double that figure with the 17j being just a touch over 1K and the 19j being not quite 4.5K

Claude,
Thanks for the info, where did you find that. The best I came up with was on the Waltham data website, and under the comments, then tried to add all the 21j or mixed runs up, but they did not come anywhere near that figure, but I thought the numbers I came up with were really low.
Thanks again,
Bill

Bill, according to my Waltham data, there were 8131 Hunters made in 25 runs and 26,628 Open Face made in 45 runs....

The Hunters were made from Nov. 1894 thru June 30, 1909 and the Open Face were made from Nov. 1894 thru Oct. 1902....

Hope this answers your question....

Regards,

Jerry

Bill as a side note these 21/23j 1892's are very nice grades, I have one and try to pick others up from time to time but usually the price on the 23j versions get a little steep.

The 21J 18S Vanguard is without a doubt one of the finest and best looking railroad movements ever made. They were very expensive, but you sure got your money's worth!
