Andy for a period of time in the early history of Dueber Hampden that dial was used on the Dueber line of watches. I like it and I have always thought that it was an attempt by John Dueber to have a distinct line of watches with his name on them. His cases were well accepted and he probably wished to capitalize on the Dueber name and give people confidence in spending money on a watch.
