Vanguard Hunter 18s.
Early run 21 Ruby Jewels, S/N 7004565 ,Hunter R/N dial.
I think the earlier runs with s/n in center are the most attractive
Vanguards made. What do you think?

Wow Wink I like that eye candy Roger! Dial looks mint which is very rare for those dials. The case is a beauty also. Win, win, win!

Thanks guys. Not the third produced such as Harry's
926 but I believe it to be from the fourth run.
Harry, the dial is not mint as it has a small h/l
under the 30 of course covered by the bezel.
Sure is a true accurate runner.

That's a nice piece Roger.

I was trying to do some sleuthing for you on the watch and in my documents and abilities the best I can do is that it was in a run of 800 pcs, and that run was started Oct. 1895 with #7004001 and ended in Jan 1901 with #7004800. They showed to all be lever~set in that run.

This is in the Waltham handwritten ledger from that actual time period from pg 250.

Best I could do Roger, sorry. Others may have better info.

bb

Thanks Buster. That averages out to 133 a year.
800 divided by 6 1895-1901. Didn't get in a hurry
did they. I am sure they had their reasons. Slow
sellers,pricey probably so.
Thanks guys
