David AbbeSo I (had to

) cleaned them lubed them and got them running "lickety-split". They are RR Grade triple signed "Burlington Watch Co." 19 Jewel Getty movements from the same production run! s/n's 2026620, 2026761. . . and only 3600 ever saw the light of day. I sure like these Getty's, and both owners of these must have too. Nice condition still after 101 years.

David AbbeThat's a beautiful and uncommon three finger Burlington Getty, don't forget me in your will

. The most extraordionary part of the Getty is the trick 1-way clutching mechanism for winding it. As I have said B4 it reminds me of the differeence we saw when GM came out with the "Hydramatic" incorporating Sprague clutches that really hauled "you know what" when you "put the pedal to the metal"!
