Hunting for Hunters ~
With hunter cases become harder and harder to find in good condition at decent prices.

Thought about starting a place for folks to post their favorite movements cased in Gold or GF or Coin or Sterling or ? - HUNTER cases.

Enjoy!

Home for an old Elgin

Don't have silver, add some Gold Filled Bezel and new glass crystal - and back in business

Movement

Interesting movement for an Elgin made 1893 to 1894 for a grand total of 11k

Grade 126s

However, serial # shows up as a 15j, but all parts are stamped with same serial number - I dunno

I seldom get this out of the safe - it's the Hamilton 993 my dad found to start me on this hobby, wearing the perfect hunter case that introduced me to my Amish watchmaker and landed me on this site.

The price for the Wadsworth case that my Amish man wanted?

$115 - to him, a King's ransom.

Nothing spectacular and not the first resident by the looks of a couple faint marks.
