Walter ColkIs this watch a Franckin watch or did waltham produce such a creature? I can find no information on such a movement.

Walter ColkTo answer my own question. This is a waltham produced for the english market, waltham did produce key wind key set model 1883 off and on till 1919 for export to england and used dennison cases. So as far as I can tell 1912 would be appropriate.

David AbbeOf the $5.5 million (or so) Waltham 1883's made, 2,724,290 were 7 Jewel movements.
Of these 36,500 were 7J key Wind American watch Co. marked. That makes this very collectible.
