Had to cave in...
Really tried hard not to buy it, but darn it...

Things that can make ya weak:

1. Private Label Hamilton

2. Low low # and 1st Run of the 926 model

3. And a sterling silver case to boot

Peter -

That brings up a good point...

Hamilton only made 300 in their 1st run of the 926. So, maybe 30 to 60 are left out of the run?
Also, Hamilton did not break below the 930 model # again, until they made watch 16201. Would have been interesting to know why they went with the 930+ model in their early runs of watches.

So, not sure how you put a $ value on this watch, but it is pretty cool to me Smile ... However, I am a sucker for the 18s Hamilton!

Jack -

Well there are 2 of the 300 from that run accounted for Smile

Have you posted pics? Would like to see the movement, if you get a chance...

Dan, I know what you're saying. I didn't give a hoot about 18 sizes until I purchased an old collection. The more I looked at them, the better they looked. The better they looked, the more I bought. I do have a nice 934 coming soon that I like and a pretty low SN 936.

I couldn't agree more Smile

It seems the more you start looking at the 18s watch, the more they start to grow on you.

I know what you mean Jon, I seem to have had one
Sprouting out of my watch pocket since the 70's.
I've had a few others, Illinois, Hampden, etc with those nice Blue screws but never a Hamilton.
I really like them. For me 18 is almost the Only size. If it happens to be in a big heavy case thats even better.
