Wow! Snagged a beautiful Patek and a couple of Howards today.

How did you make out?

Ethan LipsigI have been so busy and traveling so much that I simply did not have time to post an absentee bid for the five items I was interested in buying. However, I would have bid less than the selling price for three of the items. The fourth item did not sell, so I have no idea if my bid would have won. I would have won the fifth item unless my bid caused another to bid even higher.

Bill KappPhilip,
Thought we had another thread on the Ball Hampden and the #607 Ball Hamilton.
I can't believe that the Ball Hamilton went for only 2900. I was sure it would do better.
The Hampden was about right.

Michael SnyderI'd thought that we would see alot more posts of the winners here.
I bid on one of the 16s Maximus (missed by a bid or 2) and a ball 999b.
This year had some nice stuff, and I agree that much went for less than I had thought.

Phillip SanchezSorry about starting second separate post on this subject. How about if I say I am old and senile?

It was easier to pay with the credit card, however they will ship immediately when they receive the check.
I totally agree with Lin on that their website is difficult and confusing.
Patty Jones looks at our site, perhaps she may see the way clear to change a few things.

Bill KappLin et al,
I would have bid on that 936 regardless of the dial at that price if they had taken credit cards.
The wife and I were in England for the Wimbelton Tennis and then a cruise to St Petersburg. That took all the ready cash and the convenience of defering payment 30 days would have made the difference.
Philip, at our ages we have to be retrained after each coffee break
