Richard JohnsonWow!! Hamilton model #7 with Consecutive Case #'s
I wanted to share with the group what I believe is an unusual find. I have two Hamilton 992's, both in 14k white gold-filled model 7 Factory Railroad cases with consecutive numbers. The first one was purchased on 11/3/2015 with serial # 2579505 in case # 76031. Twenty-one months later on 7/30/17 I secured serial # 2579448 in case # 76030. The movements are only 57 apart and the cases are back-to-back, one after the other. You can imagine how surprised and overjoyed I was when I discovered it cataloging them into my collection. What's really crazy is they were both bought on Ebay from the same seller, but he bought them from two different people 1.5 years apart and from an entirely different part of the country. They now sit side by side keeping each other company. Enjoy!

Richard JohnsonKeith
I can certainly see why. That sure is a beautiful example, super clean and sharp. I love pattern backs. Now that I see yours, I believe I might have the same one. I'll have to take a look.
I have to agree with you on the appeal of the model 7. There is just something about it that sets it apart from the rest of the Hamilton Factory Railroad cases. I really like the 6 and the Crossbar (first case) as well.

Here is my Hamilton model 7 with a pattern back. Same back as yours. My case number is 74404 with movement # 2302995. Wouldn't that be something if your case was consecutive with mine. That #5 is a handsome watch. You have good taste.
