Here is a nice 2 tone Hamilton I picked up this weekend ,wonder how much workmanship like this would cost new in todays market..

Very Nice Samie!! The the contrast of the flowers in the damaskeening pattern against the gold-flashed background really sets off the whole design.

It's also nice the way the gold-flashed pattern continues across the main plate, the barrel bridge, and the balance bridge.

Looks like numbers 12201-13000 are 937 which is the hunter version of a 936 and in 1898 when those were produced they were both accepted in RR Time Service. A similar 936 was finished for J.W. Forsinger a Chicago Jewelry Distributor and well-known Time Inspector.

To answer your question, in my personal opinion, it would be one of those situations where a watch maker would tell you in order to duplicate that movement, "If you have to ask a price, you already can't afford it!" Wink
