Eric UnseltI was tempted to bid on that one too, Paul, but the dimples around the upper balance jewel scared me off.
I've never seen one of these cased, so I also didn't know if it would fit into a standard-sized 16s hunter case.

Jon HartPaul,
To keep it simple this movement is "fatter" than a typical 16sz movement. You might want to keep an eye out for a box hinge case in Coin Silver or GF. Usually these types of cases are a tad beefer on the body section and will allow this beautiful rockford to nestle in and feel at home

Paul D. TrombleyEric,
Thank you for pointing out the upper jewel... I was so caught up in how cool the gear train layout looks and the overall corrosion free condition that I did not even notice the peening on the cap jewel.
That means I will be looking for a donor before I attempt a COA... will display the watch for awhile to wait for my skill level to catch up to the task... and since my new "most favoritist" thing in the world is balance staff pivots, wait for a day when I'm feeling especially spiritual before I attempt to go in to the balance assembly.
