Hey, everyone! Been a while.

So, my girlfriend showed me her great, great grandmother's Illinois. I grabbed some snaps of it for your viewing pleasure. Let me know what you think and what you can tell me about this particular model.

Thanks in advance!!

Hi Chris,

A very nice looking watch with a gorgeous case, are you sure it's a 12s, the database says it is a Size4, database could be wrong, maybe someone else might know?

11Jewel,
Model 1
Grade 131

made around 1888, great condition for it's age.

You're right. It's a 4s. Totally my mistake.

It sure has a nice case.

By the condition I would say she only used it on Sunday to go to church.

I wonder if she was from a sailing town. Or just like the romance of the water. and being on the open sea.

There has to be a reason she had a picture of a 3 Mast ship put on her watch.
