Has the Canadian Pacific Railway gone back to steam operations? No a friend of mine Mike who works as a conductor took this picture earlier this week after their train had emerged from the upper Spiral Tunnel on Field hill. He said that the turbocharger had failed, and their second locomotive a General Electric AC 4400 was stuck in throttle 8, the heavy smoke was emerging from the crank case until the oil ran out and the engine seized.

I would hate to have to pay the bill on that repair. I wonder what it felt like when the engine seized?

Thanks for the photo.
