There is a flat metal disc in each piece.
I think the cup sides may be useful to be parts holders, BUT to put this back as a stacking set the parts would all be laying on the flat discs when I returned to the job.

That isn’t sensible. What the heck is this tool?

Wow. This came with a large lot of watchmaker’s tools. But could be coasters!

One of three flat plates is not in there. So then this is a set of polishing blocks?

The two surfaces look to have super fine lines all parallel. Like a belt grinder finished them. With a loupe I do not see one being more fine or coarse.

Are they capable of dressing or sharpening some tool or a part in a watch? ThankYou Sir.
