Using Alum and Watcer to Dissolve Steel Stem in Crown "Click" to Login or Register

So, I read that Alum can be found in a grocery store since it is used in canning.

Does anyone know the effect if any submerging for days into Alum and Waterwill have on a Bunn Special Crown?

Alum will only attack steel. Be patient, it takes a while.

Got the ‘brew’ going.
Also received the 992B stem. Hope it works.
