Looking for information on how to remove winding stem from Hamilton grade 912 pocket watch, I am trying some things and it would help if I had this information.

Ronald, if you are tying to get the movement out of the case, it is not necessary to remove the winding stem. Pull the crown up to the setting position, remove the case back and bezel and when you take out the two case screws the movement will come out through the front of the case. If you are planning to do some work on the movement, here is a link to an excellent website with photos of a 912 overhaul.
