Very Unusual Swiss Watch - Identification "Click" to Login or Register
posted
I discovered this very large pin-set watch today on Long Island. I was in a rush at the time, so I snapped these photos in a big hurry. I did not have time to peek at the movement. In any event, the warship on the dial is reminiscent of the USS Olympia, so I would guess the watch dates from the latter part of the 1890's. The rear cover has a very high quality bas relief depiction of a railway locomotive. Can anyone identify this piece?
