Ball-Hamilton question "Click" to Login or Register
posted
I picked up a 16 size 21 jewel 999B Ball-Hamilton cased in the original Ball case. I plan to service the movement in the future. My first Ball-Hamilton and I have a question about movement removal from the case. I see what looks like a detent screw to release the stem from the case. Is that correct or does it slide out after removing only case screws?

Ernie,
It should come out by removing the case screws..The screw that looks like a detent screw is the screw that holds the set lever just like on the 992b's...
