I just bought this on the bay. It is a Illinois grade 178 very rare. Does any one have any.

I have no idea why there are extra holes in the plate. But as rare as it is. I'll live with it.

The serial # on this one is 1370291. I actually have 2 more. I'll add a link.

I'll take this one apart. Clean and oil it and post some photo of the back side where the holes are.

These watch have a lot extra dameskeeping. I'll take photos of that also.

Super nice guys! I did not see grade 178 in the price guide so I went to the pocket watch data base and I don't know how accurate it is but it says only 150 made and you guys have four of the 150. Way to go guys!

I was hoping for a few more of them to pop out of the safes or safe deposits boxes.

I would like to get a few more to surface to get a data base started.
