First, sorry for the bad picture... Could someone tell me if the case is gold filled?
Thanks,
Joey

can you tell us the word that is written in the ribbon? From typical markings I would say gold plate or gold filled but without a good shot of the watch case company signature, looks like Pullman to me but to be safe. Normally if it was solid it would be marked fine extra fine with the content.

Claude,
Looks like the name is "Puritan". I figured for $15 I would not be lucky enough for it to be solid...
Thanks,
Joey

I did a quick search of past posts.

It appears that Puritan cases are gold-filled.

Still not bad for $15.

Thanks gentlemen for the information. It seems sometimes these manufactures get a little vague on their case descriptions.

Not only do they get a little vague they sometimes try to mislead you into believing it is solid gold when it is actually gold filled or gold plated. Just like the different model names for their nickel cases to make you think they contain silver, ex; Silveroid, Oresilver, Silverine, etc...
