If my information is correct I have a key wind model 1883 Appleton Tracy & Co. 15 jewel movement. My source told me although there are a lot of Appleton Tracy & Co. 15 jewel movements that there were only 2000 model 1883 Appleton Tracy & Co. key winds produced. I know Appleton Tracy were made in key wind models 1877, 1879, 1857 and 1859. The price guide does not list the Appleton Tracy in a model 1883 key wind. If I remember correctly my source says there were two runs of 1000 AT&C model 1883 key winds.

My question is can anyone verify this information and does anyone know what style of dials would be correct on this hunter movement # 3415679

And as always thank you very much for your input,
Harry

Harry, my information says there were 3000 1883 Appleton Tracy KW in 4 runs, a run of 1000 and then two of 500 and another run of 1000. Your watch is in the first run of 1000.
