Congratulations on finding an apparently honest unaltered nice 992B.

Hello Paul, yes it looked original to me also. I had been looking for a 992B for quite awhile so it was nice to come across this one.

Good find Rick,

That is one of my favorite combinations!

Here is an especially nice one I sold a few years ago in our IHC Auctions...

EARLY 992B, CANADIAN PACIFIC PORCELAIN DIAL, CANADIAN CASE!

There are some facts in my listing that might be of interest.

Really nice Canadian Content item!

Congrats,

Lindell

Thank you Roger and Thank you Lindell for the courtesy regarding your sale post. I was a little conflicted about what to make of the case model. I did look at the Hamilton factory case design case models but was not aware that the Canadian manufacturer had the model 7 dies.
That and the additional information is appreciated. I will add it to the watch CV.

Regards
Rick

p.s. - any Western gunfighter would have been impressed with the speed drawing the cash out of my pocket when I saw the watch.

Thanks Harry, sometimes things come about...and sometimes not. It appears a couple of watches may have taken a walk about, were shipped back after servicing a month ago now and no watches yet. A South Bend 293 double hinged case with 'South South Watch Case Co., South Bend Ind. on outer ring of cuvette and SBW case Co monogram on inside of back case and also an Illinois grade 176 tu-tone Getty. Still hoping they will arrive.
