another Elgin Ball question "Click" to Login or Register

I can remember reading somewhere that the 18s Elgin Ball watches had a balance wheel of a different outside diameter than a standard Elgin design. Anyone else know anything about that? I also wonder if the Ball ones had meantime screws in them, since most 18s Elgins didn't have them. Thanks, Ted

This nice 21-Jewel Ball-Elgin was not an easy one to find...
